We named it ‘The Unsullied’.
This is pure, natural badger hair without any processing.
‘Unsullied’ has a stronger scratching than ‘Kirin’, which is the difference in raw materials. ‘Kirin’ comes from Meles meles, and ‘Unsullied’ comes from Hog-Badger.
Therefore, how to maintain a relatively comfortable scratch is the focus of our production.
We still use 8 selected steps to ensure the integrity of each badger hair and remove stray hairs at the same time.
At the same time, relatively high-end badger hair is used as the raw material. High-end badger hair has longer hair tips. The longer the hair tips, the softer the touch.
Finally, the density was appropriately reduced, because Hog-Badger's hair is much thicker and harder than Meles meles' hair, so the production strategy will be very different.
Finally, after several tests, we adjusted the ‘Unsullied’ to a relatively balanced node.
This is a natural knot with a strong scratching feeling, while minimizing the needling sensation as much as possible.

Bought a pair of these (black&white).
The handles are just perfect, right height, diameter, weight, aspect (frosted). I would call it the new Chubby as this is clearly a benchmark, at least for me.
No so excited about the knots, maybe too scratchy. Time will tell.
This is quite simply the finest badger hair knot I have ever used. The density is perfect. The lathering capability is second to none. No gel feeling whatsoever, a tad scratchy upon initial uses, but softens over time. These knots are one of the greatest values the shaving world has ever known. Do not hesitate.
Fantastic brush and knot
I like the untreated bristles and the scratching is not too intense. I get a good shave when I face lather with this beautiful brush!
