Recently, due to the trade war and related tariff issues, we have made the following adjustments to the orders shipped to the United States:
First of all, the DHL shipping channel is cancelled.
The reason is that the current trade war has caused changes in tariff policies, and DHL shipping will generate relatively high tariffs. The already high tariffs are very likely to bring certain economic pressure to our customers. Therefore, in order to provide you with a more cost-effective solution, we have decided to temporarily cancel this shipping channel.
Secondly, the Fedex fee is increased to $30.
This is because we have invested additional costs in the process of finding a tax-free shipping channel. Although a tax-free approach has been found, it has also brought an increase in some other expenses, such as the handling fees in the transportation process and the relevant expenses generated to ensure that the package can smoothly pass through the tax-free process, etc. However, in order to share the pressure with you, we actually bear half of the increased shipping cost. The fee that might have increased more significantly originally is finally only increased to $30. Only the delivery time is extended compared with before (about 10 days or so), and there will be no update of the tracking information in the first three days after the package is sent out. If you want to receive the package as soon as possible, you can only choose Fedex currently.
Finally, the Alibaba shipping channel can still be used, and the fee is increased to $18.
Due to the impact of the trade war, the overall cost of international logistics has increased, including transportation costs, labor costs, and various related operating costs, etc. Although we have tried our best to optimize some links of the Alibaba shipping channel, we still cannot completely digest the increase in these costs, so the fee has been adjusted. And we also bear half of the increased shipping cost to control the fee at $18. And the transportation time is increased compared with before (about 8 - 15 days or so).
Additionally, the original free shipping threshold of $80 for the Alibaba shipping channel has been adjusted to $120.
This adjustment is mainly due to the fact that with the increase in various costs, maintaining the previous free shipping threshold would put relatively greater pressure on our overall operation. By slightly increasing the free shipping threshold, we can better balance the cost and provide more stable and sustainable shipping services.
It should be especially noted that the above-mentioned fees are for normal areas.
If your area belongs to a remote area, due to factors such as longer transportation distance and greater transportation difficulty, the fee will be slightly higher than that of normal areas.
