Full Customization Service Coming Soon

As our business has grown, we have received increasing interest from customers seeking customization services.

A high-end shaving brush is not only a practical daily tool but also an object that carries the pleasure of collecting—especially for pieces that embody thoughtful craftsmanship. We have always believed that the sense of ritual in daily life lies precisely in those details that belong uniquely to the user.

Everyone has their own aesthetic judgment. As an artisanal brand, while we have always offered a diverse range of options, we felt something was still missing—the truly personal touch that belongs to “you.” Creating a shaving brush fully customized for you, we believe, will undoubtedly bring deeper, more personal emotional value.

To that end, we are about to open a door for you—the Full Custom Shaving Brush Handle Service. This is not just a purchase, but a journey of co-creation. Starting from an uncrafted blank, all the way to becoming a one-of-a-kind work of art in your hand, every step invites your participation.

A Textural “Mystery Box” Adventure

The entire customization process begins with an exciting adventure—selecting the blank.

Imagine the resin blank you choose, with its flowing, colorful surface texture, like amber gently touched by time. But that is only its exterior. The real surprise lies hidden within the material. In the hands of OUMO craftsmen, the interplay of temperature and time will reveal internal textures far more vibrant and layered than the surface. Particularly for blanks containing translucent materials, dreamlike “grotto” effects often form inside.

You cannot fully perceive the interior from the outside—this sense of mystery is the first gift of the customization journey. The thrill of this “reveal” will mark the beginning of a magnificent exploration.

Your Preferences Shape Our Blank Pool

We will consistently maintain a blank pool offering over 100 selectable styles, updated monthly. Even more uniquely, this blank pool will evolve based on your preferences. If you desire a specific color combination—whether it’s the elegance of pearlescent tones, the serenity of solid colors, the richness of pigment paste, or the clarity of dye concentrates—please let us know. Let us work together to enrich this ever-growing library of creations.

Once you’ve chosen that “destined” blank, the real shaping begins:

  • Shape: We have gathered most of OUMO’s handle shapes along with some classic bestselling styles from ARNO, and will continue to update designs synchronously. There will always be one that fits your grip and aesthetics.

  • Craftsmanship: You may choose a seamless, integrated form or experiment with combination splicing, creating unique contrasts with different materials. We also introduce the Glaze process, adding a special coating to the handle while retaining the possibility of splicing.

  • Finish: Choose the classic, timeless polished surface or the uniquely textured matte finish (we must honestly note that matte finishes in dark colors are more challenging to maintain; please choose carefully).

  • The Finishing Touch: You may select brass, copper, aluminum, or mother-of-pearl rings as accents, opt for a classic coin, or even have your name engraved—we will strive to offer more personalized options to complete this final signature.

A Commitment of Time

Since each piece is made independently from scratch, strictly adhering to a “one client, one order” approach, it requires more time and dedicated focus. We do not wish to rush, for beautiful things are worth the wait. This brief period of anticipation will be exchanged for a truly one-of-a-kind-in-the-world shaving brush made just for you.

This is more than just a shaving brush—it is an extension of your personality, taste, and attitude toward life. We have prepared all the materials and craftsmanship, awaiting only your creative input.
