Some applications of five-axis engraving machines.

Loong handles are our first attempt. I think we will never make such complex handles again.

Because the high time cost is beyond our reach.

We began to think about how to use this equipment better.

So we decided to add complex carvings to regular handles. The carving part is no longer a whole, but a focal point.

We started trying two months ago and have made two carved handles so far.

One is called ‘Yingluo’. We used a very complex Yingluo ball design on the top of the handle. The middle part is CNC machined to make a matching base for it. The lower part is made of wood and six grooves are opened for it using a manual milling machine. It is more beautiful and more non-slip.

Yingluo represents preciousness and elegance in Chinese culture.

Another one is called “Six-Character Mantra”, which is an important cultural symbol in Buddhism. It is said to have the effect of warding off evil spirits, but there is no direct scientific evidence. However, we still want to bring you peace through our works.

Next, we will create around the engraving machine. We will combine five-axis engraving machines, CNC, manual lathes, manual milling machines and other equipment to jointly produce handles, so that the exquisiteness of handles will reach a new level.

Of course, we will also consider metal and stone materials in the later stage, so that more materials can be added to make OUMO's works more unique.
