ST-3 Global Testing Program: Selected Testers & Next Steps

First off, a huge thank you to the entire global wet shaving community for the overwhelming response to our call for testers. We received over 150 applications in total, including submissions from enthusiasts with more than 40 years of wet shaving experience. Our applicant pool also included prominent community influencers, veteran wet shaving YouTubers, and even several established brand owners.

We were also deeply touched by applicants with less extensive experience compared to other candidates—their genuine passion for the craft truly resonated with us, and we’ve reserved spots for them to join us in finalizing the production version of the ST-3.

Selection Criteria:
Selection remained focused on deep wet shaving expertise, particularly extensive hands-on experience with synthetic hair knots. Priority was given to testers with proven familiarity with the ST-1 and ST-2, as the ST-3 is an iterative upgrade built directly on the performance foundation of these earlier models.

A quick note for applicants with extensive badger hair knot experience: some were unfortunately not selected this round due to the specific scope of this test cycle. We also placed high value on familiarity with the broader OUMO ecosystem during our review process.
