The Emperor series proudly welcomes its fifth generation.

Generations 1 through 4 have built an extraordinary reputation for Emperor. As stocks of the fourth generation gradually deplete, we are launching a new batch of Emperor knots.

Compared to its predecessors, the fifth generation continues to deliver exceptional knot density and comfort, maintaining a high degree of consistency in overall performance. Yes, it remains the most powerful Silvertip badger knot on the market.

Similar to the E-4, we made only one adjustment: reducing the knot  height from 70-72mm to 65-66mm. This enhances compatibility with a wider variety of handles.

Emperor has consistently focused on addressing the primary pain point of Silvertip knots: backbone. The inherent characteristic of Silvertip hair results in relatively weak backbone, which is its sole limitation. By utilizing high density and reduced loft, we impart excellent backbone to Emperor (though it still cannot match the Tyrant or even Manchuria series in this regard). Nevertheless, it comprehensively surpasses all other types of Silvertip knots available.

Historically, Silvertip has enjoyed greater popularity in the European market—an indisputable fact, as Silvertip, being the leading high-end knot in wet shaving history, commands a larger following there.

However, the Emperor series disrupted this pattern, achieving significant sales growth in the North American market as well. Prior to this, North America was largely dominated by Finest Two Band knots. The substantial improvement in backbone effectively mitigated what was formerly Silvertip's key weakness.
